The Samsung S10e

The Samsung S10e is considered the more “Budget” model S10. Although it is cheaper compared to the rest of the line up, this still comes with a flagship price tag. This phone currently is available to Pre-Order from Samsung with a starting price of £669.

Samsung S10e

Lets start with what the S10e does have.

The display is still a Samsung AMOLED Display, with 400 Pixels Per Inch and a 1080 x 2280 resolution. Meaning you still get a fantastic quality display. It is a 5.8″ display, making it a smaller sized screen compared to the rest of the line up, but still a very good sized phone.

This phone does have a flat display, as well as slightly thicker bezels around the edge of the display, unlike the S10 but still delivers fantastic display quality.

The Camera

This comes with a dual lens set up on the back, so you do loose one camera but its still a fantastic set up none the less. The main camera is a 12MP sensor able to record 4K Video at 60FPS, and the second lens is an ultra wide 16MP Sensor. Both capable of capturing some fantastic photo’s.

You also get a 10MP Selfie camera thats cut out of the display itself, letting you go wild with your selfie skills.

The S10e does loose some features from the S10 line up. But this does come with solutions. You will get your fingerprint scanner moved to the power button on the side of the device. You keep wireless charging, fast charging, fast wireless charging and Reverse Wireless charging. Reverse wireless charging will allow you to charge other wireless charging devices through the back of your phone.

This phone will also be running Android 9.0 (Pie) which will also features Samsung One UI. Hopefully this makes it more of a user friendly experience!

The Samsung S10

The resolution is 1440 x 3040 pixels, and has 550 pixels per inch. Meaning this is incredible to look at, it has fantastic resolution, with accurate colours and comes out on top in this department.

The S10 comes with a triple camera. The Main Camera being the same 12MP sensor on the S10e, as Well as the same Ultra-Wide Lens. But it also comes with an additional telephoto lens. This means you can zoom in whilst taking your photo’s or videos and not loose any of that brilliant camera quality.

On the front you have the same Selfie cut out camera as it is on all 3 devices.

As for additional features this is where the difference in price really comes from.

On the S10 and S10+ you will find an in-display fingerprint scanner. This uses ultra sonic waves to read your fingerprint through the screen even when the display is off.

It also features the same charging features as the S10e with fast charging, wireless charging, and Reverse Wireless charging. As well as the same chip set and storage.
